We finally got round to going along to the miniature railway in Ickenham. We met up with Gav, Becky and Freddy and got down there just after it opened. Unfortunately the steam train broke down, so we had to ride an electric one, but I don't think Elizabeth minded.
She's going to grow into them.
All of a sudden, Elizabeth loves her dollies and soft toys. She feeds them, puts them to bed, takes them for walks, and kisses them a lot. And pokes them in the eyes.
Elizabeth playing with two of our neighbours, Rebecca and Callum. Elizabeth lost the race every time, but she didn't seem to mind. Stopping to wave didn't help!
Elizabeth's favourite game at the moment is running and diving on to our beanbag.
Elizabeth greatly enjoyed painting her hands.
This was at Swallowfield show. They had a reptile tent, and Elizabeth loved the snakes and lizards! She was braver stroking them than she is with dogs and cats!
Elizabeth making a call on her car phone.
This baby miniature donkey was about the right size for Elizabeth to ride!
I didn't know what to say about this one!
Or is it a colander?
Peekaboo!
Great uncle Peter is just demonstrating...
This is apparently the funniest thing in the world.
We are all getting very wet at bath time at the moment.
Elizabeth with two OAPs.
Elizabeth's first visit to the beach. She loves playing in the sand at nursery, so Barry Island was a big hit!
We went bowling again, and Elizabeth was a bit better than last year. I think she beat Clare in one game...
On the way back from the wedding we stopped at Drayton Manor theme park. There weren't many rides Elizabeth could go on, but she enjoyed the day there!
On the way up to Buxton for the wedding we stopped at Trentham Monkey Forest where they have 80 or so Barbary macaques wandering freely through a forest which you are free to walk through too. Shame it was tipping down!
The photos from the wedding are under 'The other stuff' then 'weddings' then 'Mark and Ruth'
When we were out at the Green Man for Sunday lunch. Thanks to Amy for the photo!
Her gloves are a little large, but she's very helpful.
Have a look down as far as 17th June as we have added a couple of photos we missed.
Elizabeth's first haircut. They didn't cut much off! Just tidied it up a bit.
This was taken a couple of weeks ago at the end of the level 2 swimming course. We have leapt up to level 5 now!
We visited Susan, Mal, Hana and William at the weekend, and the sun did come out for a bit. Elizabeth tried very hard to give William a kiss, and managed it in the end, after he tired of fighting her off...
Elizabeth thoughtfully got me some paints for her for Father's day, so we tried them out. Outside, obviously. A masterpiece I think!
I got a lovely breakfast in bed (complete with some flowers Elizabeth picked in the garden).
We got this a couple of weeks ago, so I can pick Elizabeth up from nursery by bike, and we can go for rides at the weekend.
I think Elizabeth appreciated it a bit more this year!
I pushed her for a while like this without realising she was asleep on the handlebars!
For Nan Denley in Mexico...hope you're feeling better!
We went to the doctors for an injection, and when we got back, she was off! This was about half an hour after her first step. She learnt fast!
This was at the Wokingham May Day festival. Since we went to Odds farm Park, Elizabeth has taken to pointing at all animals, especially dogs, and you couldn't miss this one!
Elizabeth is very happy with her house, although her head does touch the ceiling, and the roof is a bit saggy. It is now resident in our living room due to bad weather.
Surveying her work.
A christmas present that she has finally got the hang of! She was a bit young back then...
We've been making the most of the sun and sorting out our front garden, with a little help from Elizabeth who ate some dirt for us.
The trike was a birthday present from Mum and Dad (that's us, not my Mum and Dad)
This photo was actually taken months ago, at the end of Elizabeth's first swimming course last October. We have only just got it though when she started level 2!
