Now that Lizzie has mastered the art of rolling over, she can't lie still on her back. She often goes to sleep on her side, or turns right over and has to be rescued.
After weeks of trying to work out what to do with her lower arm, she finally managed to roll over today.
Elizabeth has her own chair now. They are called Bumbo chairs and are designed for babies that can't sit up on their own yet. She loves it!
Lizzie will only drink her milk if it is nice and hot. After spending money on fancy gadgets that didn't warm it up anywhere near enough, we had to improvise. In pop's cup of tea. It did the trick!
We went out for a meal this evening, to the George again. It is the first time we have been out for an evening meal with Elizabeth, and she was quiet the whole time.
Another day trip out as Nan and Pops are around all this week. Clare has some company other than Elizabeth for a change!
Elizabeth is now sleeping in her own room in the big cot! She was getting too big for the small one. She is sleeping very well at the moment. Through the night most nights, although she woke up and cried her first night in this one because her leg got stuck between the bars!
Lizzie got filmed a lot today!
A day trip to the living rainforest with Nan and Pops, and aunty Anne Marie.
We had a barbeque today with lots of friends over. Amy bought Elizabeth a lovely hat!
Ok, so Emma is 2 now so not really a baby. She was a bit shy at this point too! Freddy is on the right with Becky.
Terry, Janet and sarah called in on their way to Gatwick. Elizabeth wasn't in a great mood because of the heat, but Sarah did a sterling job of keeping her happy!
Still very hot so we got our paddling pool out. We tried her in it yesterday but she wasn't very impressed with the cold water. Much better today now it has warmed up a bit in the sun.
I went along to baby college as I had the day off. It is basically a mother and baby group, but they explain the reasoning behind all the games that they play! (That's a parachute they are under by the way)
I got a lovely card from Elizabeth. very clever of her to go and get one. And write it too!
all OK now.
This was after we tried to give her some cold water as it was such a hot day. She cried for about an hour. We didn't try that again!
I had two days off work for my birthday, and we went bowling on the first. Elizabeth only had two goes, and she didn't do very well! Lots of time to practice though.
