And why not?
Elizabeth's party was at the mad house this year, an indoor play barn place. Despite bursting in to tears 3 times int he first ten minutes, she had a great time!
Elizabeth enjoyed it nearly as much as her Grandad!
We went to Woburn safari park as part of Clare's birthday celebrations. Seeing as we just had an animal pic at the cotswolds, here is one of Elizabeth in the play area!
Looking at one of Grandad's zoetropes.
Elizabeth and Emma helping to feed Nicholas Dawson.
Our turn to have friends over for a play day! All went well.
Jumping off things has joined the regular dancing now...
Elizabeth used her Christmas money from Aunty Joyce and Uncle Peter to buy a car seat for her teddy.
The pile of snow cleared off the driveway has now become a plaything for Elizabeth and Rebecca. It has now been made into a snow slide, but no pics of that yet...
When it snowed before Christmas, I said if it snowed again we had to clear it before people drove and walked on it, as after it is compacted and frozen it won't shift. I went out and started digging, and a while later there were 5 of us clearing the road together. The next day we had 8 clearing the T junction round the corner. The snow has definitely bought out the community spirit!
Elizabeth really loves dancing. She gets up and wants to dance. She wants to dance after breakfast. We suggest going out, and she says she wants to stay in and dance. Doesn't matter if there is no music at all!
Deep enough to be over Elizabeth's wellies, so she wouldn't go out much till I made paths!
A bit smaller this year, with only 12 including 2 week old baby Nicholas Dawson. All went very well.
Christmas with the Denleys at our house. Elizabeth nearly fell asleep in her food, but then woke up a bit and ate loads of swede and stuffing.
Elizabeth was a lot more excited about Christmas this year, although she didn't like the idea of Father Christmas coming into her bedroom at night, whether he was going to leave presents or not. She left her stocking in the living room.
Another day, and more snowmen. I built them on my own this time, with Elizabeth watching through the window the whole time. She helped with the faces! Unfortunately the snow went powdery before I managed to make a snow Clare!
Elizabeth started helping with the snowmen, but then went inside to watch through the window.
First christmas at the Humphries' house. Anne Marie was a last minute substitute for Uncle Martin as he was ill.
Elizabeth baking biscuits for Grandma.
The last ballet lesson of the term. She is gettign better and still loving it.
We also went and got our tree today, and Elizabeth helped us to decorate it. Apart from wanting to put all the baubles on one branch she was a lot more helpful this year!
There is an annual event near us called the toyrun, where motorbikers dress up, decorate their bikes, and take toys to donate to Barnados. This year there were around 2500 motorbikes, and we watched them all!
It was Woodley Winter extravaganza today, and apart from winning masses of prizes on various tombolas, Elizabeth also finally met Father Christmas. She is really looking forward to Christmas this year!
We haven't been to Swansea for ages, and we spent a lovely day there with Rachana, Pini, Milind and Jayan. Unfortunately we hardly took any pictures.
Elizabeth has wanted to have shiny nails like Mummy for a while, and we finally got round to doing it. Or rather, Aunty Anne Marie did.
Elizabeth is getting better at taking photos. She took this one with our camera with no assistance.
We went in to London to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park to go to the circus with Grandma and Grandad. before they arrived we went on a few of the rides, including the big wheel.
Elizabeth wanted to do the washing up, and who am I to stop her?
We suddenly realised that this was the last day legoland was open, so went there for the afternoon.
Taken by Pops.
Elizabeth came along to cheer Jo, Matt and I on, and other random people sho she shouted at too. My medal rapidly became her medal. She said I can keep the one from next time...

We haven't really encouraged Elizabeth to write at all, but this week she bought this home from nursery. 3 letters down, just 6 more to learn!
Elizabeth's new bedroom is nearly finished. Just some bits of decoration to do, and some curtains. Elizabeth was so eager to move in, she slept in there before she even had a bed, with just a mattress on the floor.
Photos from our holiday to Turkey are up here:

Who says chopsticks are tricky?
We stopped in Henley on the way home from the Henley show, and as it was such a nice day, decided to rent a boat.
After being a bit scared of animals for a while, she suddenly wanted to ride a horse.
Too fast for me this one, but Elizabeth and Clare go on!
We have made a lot of visits to Legoland this year, making the most of our annual passes. The diggers were her favourite thing for a while.
Elizabeth has got her final car seat at last. No more fiddly straps! She'll be in this one till she's 12!
That is a pretend microphone in her hand in case you were wondering.
We had decided not to go this year, but I was working and it was a nice day so Clare, Anne Marie and Elizabeth drove down and back in a day. Many hours in traffic, but they did say it was good!
Elizabeth and Emma have played together a few times recently, and been mistaken for sisters more than once!
Wendy will be jealous. At legoland again.
We have finally started work on Elizabeth's new bedroom.
The third of Elizabeth's 3 weeks of parties.
The first lesson I've been allowed in to the room for since the first. She loves it, and would go every day given the chance!
Elizabeth has finally decided that she liked ice cream! Taken at Hurst Show.
Emma D and Elizabeth, with two of the biggest smiles ever!
Elizabeth the flower girl! She did a great job, and it was a lovely day. Lots more photos here:

The glasses suit her.
For months Elizabeth has been saying that she will do ballet lessons when she is 3, and she is finally doing them! She absolutely loves it, and would go every day given the chance. Can't really take photos at the classes as we aren't allowed in the room, but here she is doing some at home!
All ready to be a flower girl at Jon and Amy's wedding.
We finally got round to visiting Andy's horse.
Our second trip to London, to visit the museums.
